FAMILY Fun

* Boo in the Zoo: Family-friendly celebration at Chattanooga Zoo, 1254 E. Third St., includes costume contests, candy, games and crafts 5:30-8:30 p.m. today and Saturday. Free with regular admission: $6 adults, $4 seniors, $3 children. 697-1322.

* Breakfast With Dad: A costume contest for the big guy and face-painting and inflatables for the kids are among activities at this fall-themed event sponsored by First Things First 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Chick-fil-A, 1804 Gunbarrel Road. 267-5383.

* Spooky Days: Activities at Creative Discovery Museum, 321 Chestnut St., include pumpkin carving demonstrations and samples of s'mores and warm cider 1-4 p.m. Saturday, with storyteller Jim Pfitzer at 3 p.m. Free with regular admission: $9.95. 756-2738.

PARTIES

* Chattanooga Theatre Centre: Stage Fright, an annual Halloween bash, starts at 8 p.m. Saturday. Prizes of $200, $75 and $25 will be awarded for best costumes. You must be 18 to enter and 21 or older for alcoholic beverages. Food will be served, and a cash bar will have no potions or tonics over $5. Tickets $5 in advance, $10 at the door. * Hunter Museum: Call 267-0968 for ticket availability for A Magnificent Masquerade, 9 p.m.-midnight Saturday at the Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View. * Lindsay Street Hall: This new venue at 901 Lindsay St. will feature Moonlight Bride and Forest Magic at its first Halloween party. Doors open at 8 p.m. Saturday. DJs will follow the bands. Admission is $10, and a cash bar will be open. 755-9111.

* Godspot: Several Decatur, Tenn., churches will offer this family festival, now in its 10th year, 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Meigs County Fairgrounds on Main Street. Four gospel groups will sing. Free hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and candy.

* New United Missionary Baptist Church: 2629 Tunnel Blvd. Family fall festival features free food, candy, inflatables and games, 4:30-8 p.m. Saturday. 629-2875.

* Oak Street Baptist Church: 11340 N. Oak St., Soddy-Daisy. Trunk or treat, 6 p.m. Saturday.

* Oakwood Baptist Church: Main campus at 115 Oakwood St., Chickamauga, Ga., and Germantown campus, 707 S. Germantown Road, East Ridge. GHOST TOURS

* Chattanooga Ghost Tours: Find out the most haunted places downtown on 90-minute, guided tours scheduled 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through mid-November and other times by appointment. * Dalton Ghost Tours: These 90-minute walking tours start at 7 p.m. each Friday and Saturday through November on the wooden deck across from the Wink Theatre, 115 W. Crawford St. Storyteller Connie Scott and actors journey into Dalton, Ga.'s haunted past. $10 adults, $6 children. 706-980-4934.

* Berry College: Haunted History Tours of the Berry College campus in Rome, Ga., begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Martha Berry Museum. Tours highlight the superstitious traditions of the Southern Highlanders, who inhabited the area in the latter part of the 19th century, and ghost stories told by students and faculty. $5.
