* Setup: Take a ride in the electric chair, lose your head in a guillotine and watch Dr. Frankenstein's experiments in the lab while trying to avoid vampires, mummies and assorted monsters. New this year are a pumpkin patch and hayride.

HAUNTED VILLAGE

* Address: 3424 Keith Road, Ringgold, Ga. Take I-75 to Ringgold/Tunnel Hill Exit 345. Go north on Highway 41 one mile, then right on Catoosa Parkway/Georgia 2 for 1.2 miles, then left onto Keith Road for 3.3 miles.

* Setup: Guided, quarter-mile tours take visitors into the forgotten town of Carter's Grove, where ghosts and ghouls await in a butcher shop, morgue, funeral home and cemetery. Survivors of previous tours will find familiar stops along the way, as well as a few new surprises.

* Hours: Open at 7:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through Oct. 31.

* Admission: $13. Not recommended for children under 10.
