CSO Youth Orchestras perform Monday

Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Youth Orchestras will present a fall concert at Brainerd Baptist Church, 300 Brookfield Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The CSO Youth Orchestra Symphony, conducted by Gary Wilkes, and the Philharmonic, conducted by Sandra Morris, will play a variety of music, including "Danse Macabre" by Saint-Sans, "Slavonic Dance No. 8" by Dvofik; "Hoedown" by Copland, "Hornpipe" by Handel, and the finale of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.

Featured on the concert will be a performance of Viotti's Violin Concerto No. 22 by Joel Wilkinson, winner of the 2009 CSOYO Concerto Competition.

Tickets at the door are $6 for adults and $4 for children, students, and senior adults.
