Shoppers browse stacks of merchandise during last year's Chattanooga Boutique Warehouse Sale at Loose Cannon Studio.
Bargain hunters looking for a great deal can shop eight boutiques in one location today and Saturday when the seventh Chattanooga Boutique Warehouse Sale opens at Loose Cannon Studio.
Participating retailers are Jonesy's Upstairs, Backstreet Betty's, Lula's, Embellish, Frankie & Julian's, Romeo's Jeans and Tees, Helene's House of Treasures and Juicy Gems. They'll contribute clothing in sizes 2-18, jewelry, shoes and handbags to the fundraiser.
Organizer Jonesy Gilbert said some of the sale merchandise is discounted as much as 90 percent.
This sale is so popular that tickets are sold to get in on opening day, giving ticketholders first dibs on the selection. Tickets are $25 at the door today, which includes beverages and light hors d'oeuvres. Saturday's shoppers are admitted free.
All proceeds from ticket sales are donated to the Helene DiStefano Breast Cancer Fund, which helps families of breast cancer patients.
"We have many women who come the first day just to make the donation to the Helene DiStefano fund," said Gilbert. "This is money raised by Chattanoogans that stays in Chattanooga."
