A mouthwatering meal isn’t the only draw at Noon Time on Barbecue Hill, a summer tradition at the Jack Daniel Distillery.
From May through September, the distillery hosts a barbecue dinner every Friday and Saturday at the scenic Barbecue Pavilion overlooking Jack Daniel’s Hollow and the town of Lynchburg, Tenn. In addition to lunch, guests enjoy a bluegrass band, shuffleboard and horseshoes.
Jill Meyer, who works in media relations for the distillery, said Noon Time on Barbecue Hill is “not to be missed.”
“It is the perfect way to top off a visit to Jack Daniel Distillery for one of our free tours or shopping on Lynchburg’s quaint town square,” she said.
No alcohol is served at Noon Time on Barbecue Hill, and the event is appropriate for all ages.
Cost is $20 for adults, $10 for children 4-10.
For reservations, call (931) 759-6319 by noon on Thursday for a Friday reservation or by noon on Friday for a Saturday reservation. An online reservation form can be found at www.jackdaniels.com (click on The Distillery, then on BBQ Hill on the dropdown menu).
Guests will need to check in at the Visitor Center courtyard by 11 a.m. CDT to pick up tickets. The street address is 182 Lynchburg Highway.
“We will shuttle you to the pavilion on our bus,” Meyer said.
