Description: Sweet Diversity is a multicultural community experience featuring crafts, entertainers and desserts from a variety of cultures in District 5. This event is sponsored by the City of Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) in partnership with District 5 City Councilman Luther Shockley. Sweet Diversity is free and open to the public.
Everyone is invited to sample the delicious, multicultural desserts coming straight from the cultural kitchens of District 5. Participants are invited to bring a dessert that represents their unique cultural heritage along with a recipe card for sharing. Attendees will be treated to spectacular performing and visual arts from various cultures in the area.
Come and learn more about the work of the OMA and meet Bill Gardner, the appointee who represents District 5 on the OMA Advisory Board.
